WHO'S GOT THE X-FACTOR?

OK, so last night I have watched the Season 2 premiere of one of the biggest talent-singing competition/search in the US, THE X FACTOR SEASON 2. To tell you the truth, I'm one the people who has a bipolar attitude to Simon Cowell, one of the judges in the show, which is just normal, I think? Since I saw him on American Idol, I kind of think that he is so rude in giving some constructive criticisms to the contestants, he is very straight to the point. I find his comments harsh but funny at the same time but also, i understand that he needs to be harsh or rude, he needs to be honest to some people and I know what he was saying is for the better.

I actually waited for the show earlier this year since I read the news that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will be the new judges, replacing Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. I was so excited because I have missed Demi so much especially when she left sonny with a Chance for an understandable reason. :) I think the new 2 lady judges both did well on the first episode and i actually like Britney's rudeness! HAHA

Moving on to the show, the first episode, which was the audition is a good start. I like Paige Thompson (Rihanna-Look-a-like), the girl who gets bullied (I forgot her name), Reed (The Justin/Greyson Look-a-like) and of course, the EMBLEM 3! woohoo, they rock although something in them isn't right....

What I hate during the show is one of the contestant, Kaci Newton. Although I find it weird that they televised her rudeness towards the other contestants especially to Paige. It's just that, why were they focusing on her? Is she a subplot or something? But I know that I hate her attitude.

There are so many laughs and anger that happened during the first episode and I actually enjoyed watching it. i just hope I'm not gonna be too lazy to ignore the show. I'll do what i can to watch the whole season (fingers crossed).

OH! I almost forgot. I like Simon's new t-shirt. I've never seen him wearing that before. HAHA!

Don't Click (Korean Horror Film)

Yesterday afternoon I watched a Korean Horror flick entitled Don't Click. Yeah, obviously by just reading the title it's about computers or internet, hence, DON'T CLICK. LOL.

Remember the film "THE RING"? It's plot doesn't actually differ much from this movie. Both film revolve around a video but apparently Don't Click is more modernize, high-tech and stuffs (especially about iPhone and some Apple branded gadgets and gizmos)but it doesn't mean it's better than the former.

Don't Click revolves around a mysterious odd video about a girl doing an incantation to a doll and curses everyone who watches the said mysterious video. It's the way of the girl to get revenge on what the people did to her family especially to her father. For me, the theme is all about "KARMA", if you all believe in that too. It's like what goes around, comes around, and probably hit you much worse. Jung-Mi asked her sister's boyfriend to retrieve or recover an odd video which stirred up the world wide web years ago and got deleted because of some weird events and stuffs it did to some people. Jung-Mi watched the video, as well as her friend and Joon-Hyuk, her sister's boyfriend. And after watching the video, it's up to See-Hee to save her sister and put an end to the weird and evil things that's happening around them. 

To tell you all honestly, this movie didn't freak nor scare the freak out of me that much.It's like I'm waiting to be startled or scared but got disappointed when it didn't happen. It's not bad though, but it's not as good as the other critically and publicly-acclaimed films such as The Ring, the Shutter, The Grudge, One Missed Call, Coming Soon, Phobia 1 and 2 , and many other films that made quite a stir and buzzes during their release but I'm not saying that it's not worth watching either. It's good to watch especially if you have nothing to do. 

For me, the movie is like a wake up call for all of the people out there who upload such videos like sex scandals, cyber sex, sexual harassing videos, videos that contain killing animals/people or other videos that aren't nice. I just hope that all the people who watch this will open their eyes in the reality and prevent this things to happen even little by little. We all know that many lives are being lost because of such things.

The Hunger Games

MAY THE GODS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR

I have watched, finally, the film THE HUNGER GAMES Just an hour ago. Huzzah! I know it's kind of late but I actually has a copy of the movie a month ago but I was not in the clear mood to watch it at that time. but today, I finally watched it! :) This is, I think, the third media i watched with a theme about Battle Royale. First, the Japanese Film Battle Royale, one of the best film ever, second, the anime Mirai Nikki or Future Diary, then this is the third.

I actually heard about the film last year when I was twittering. I saw a link on twitter saying that there is currently a new film where Liam Hemsworth will star in. Well, of course, I got excited because he is Miley's boyfriend back then and now he's her fiance, and I read about it so technically, I knew the story of the film since it was just an adaptation from a novel although I didn't read the novel, I just read the plot. HAHA! Imagine me saying that way fasttt.

Moving on, so i think the movie is great. I don't want to tell the whole story in case there are some people who haven't watched it yet, I don't want to spoil a great film.

The Film:

"The movie is about a game, a Battle Royale themed game, meaning every participant must do their best to kill and fight the other contenders to win, stay alive, and go home to their families and loved ones. The game, Hunger Games, is a punishment for the 12 poorly maintained and cared districts for what they did to the capitol, which was rebelling against it. And in the film, it's the 74th Annual Hunger Games where Primrose Everdeen, Katniss' sister, got selected but Katniss hurriedly volunteered in replace for her sister's place, then afterwards, Peeta Mellark got selected through lottery and be the male tribute of District 12. they both rode a high-tech train and went to the capitol to be in the parade and participate in the Hunger Games." 

The most:

• The most touching scene is when Rue, a girl from District 11, who became friends with Katniss died.
• The most romantic scene is when Peeta and Katniss was at the cave and they kissed and Peeta said "now I can't let you go" or something like that. HAHA
• The most handsome and hottest character is Cato (played by Alexander Ludwig). who would have thought he and Josh will get that buffy?
• The most hottest character is of course, Katniss and I think it's Glimmer. I'm not sure. HAHA
• The most annoying part of the film is at the beginning when the camera is kind of shaky. I got dizzy actually.
• The most startling part of the film is when the jaguar-tiger-like creatures jumped at Peeta.

There are actually lots of points I like about the film so I'm going to focus on what I hate. 

• I hate it how Gail (Liam Hemsworth) got only a few screen time. He actually looks good in this movie, and it's such a shame how they didn't give them a right amount of exposure. :/
• As I said above, I hate the shaky camera scenes.
• this is also probably in the novel, I don't know, but I hate the costumes of the people in the Capitol. They really look like weird clowns or something although I think it suits the film, I just think it's so weird how they dress. I wish that isn't going to be our future.
• I think there are a lots of songs in the soundtrack of the film but I hope they played some during the film. I was actually waiting for Safe and Sound and Eyes Open to be played but I only heard Safe and Sound during the credits and got disappointed when Eyes Open didn't play.  UGHHHHHHHH! It's like the best track in the soundtrack for me.
• I hate how half of the tributes died in the first day. that sucks. I was hoping they'll die one by one. HAHA. Although I felt sorry for some who died during the bloodbath in the first 2 minutes when the game started.
• And I also hate the part of the film or novel how these scientists and the game director is controlling the game, how they wanted it to end, how they wanted someone to die. I just wished they stopped using those hi-tech computers and didn't meddle with the game and let it flow. :/

Other than what I mentioned above, the film is fantastically great especially the environment of the whole film. It's so dark, I felt it. The poor civilization of the districts and although it's the future, I actually thought it was in the past, thanks to the high tech bling blings and stuffs.

Now, I can't wait to watch the sequel for the movie, the second from the trilogy, Catching Fire, which i read will be released in November 2013. If I have time and can't wait, probably I'll read the 2nd novel but I think I won't because I didn't read the first of the trilogy. :/

Detective Conan: Kudo Shinichi's Written Challenge

I just finished watching the first live action tv special of my favorite anime of all time, DETECTIVE CONAN! Probably, you are all saying, "Huh? You just watched it now? But it aired a long time ago." Who cares? I actually had a copy of this tv film last year but got f*cking deleted for some unknown unexpected reason. 

About the TV SPECIAL:

It was aired in Japan on October 2, 2006 and got a viewership ratings of 13.0. As I said above, it is a live action tv special adaptation of one of the best, longest-running and highly-acclaimed anime series and manga, Detective Conan, created by Gosho Aoyama (thanks!). The made-for-tv movie is made to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the very popular Japanese Anime.

"The tv special takes place the time before Shinichi Kudo got shrunk and made into a kid, Conan Edogawa. He was still a high school student at Teitan High School back then. The story revolves around when the famous high school Japanese detective receives a challenge letter from an unknown person who only called himself/herself as KIDNAPPER, threatening/giving hints on how,where and when the kidnapping will occur. The kidnapper chose the day to kidnap one of Shinichi's classes during their field trip. Now, it's all up to Shinichi to know who will be kidnapped and how to stop the evil attempt of the culprit."

It stars Oguri Shun as Kudo Shinichi, Kurokawa Tomoka as Mori Ran, Jinnai Takanori as Mori Kogoro, Iwasa Mayuko as Suzuki Sonoko, and Nishimura Masahiko as Inspector Megure.

This is actually the 2nd Detective Conan Live action special that I have watched. The first is Detective Conan : Challenge to Kudo Shinichi, a live action TV Series special and the fourth installment from the Live action special starring Mizobata Junpei as Kudo Shinichi and Kutsuna Shiori as Mori Ran.

To tell you honestly, I am torn between Junpei and Shun on who's the better actor in portraying Shinichi Kudo. They both did well on their job. But what I hate about in this film is that the actor who played Inspector Megure is kind of over acting. I kind of hate how he portrayed Inspector Megure, even his appearance is kind of over the top.

Detective Conan is definitely no doubt, hands down, one of the greatest, best, and not-surprisingly most amazing anime's there are. I am so addicted to it that I even downloaded every single episode since 2010 but sadly, I'm currently stuck in episode 377. It is one of the longest-running anime's and has more than 10 theatrical and made-for-tv films. It is highly-anticipated and very popular not just in Japan but also all over the world.

Ronan by Taylor Swift

First, I would like to clarify that this new song by Taylor Swift is not a break-up song. And NO, Ronan wasn't a guy that Taylor dated before, yes, WASN'T.

ABOUT THE SONG:

I was tweeting this morning and looked at the Trending topics and I saw "Stand Up 2 Cancer" and "Ronan" are trending. I clicked the Stand Up 2 Cancer topic and found out that the two topics are related. Taylor Swift performed her new song in the said telethon and after her performance, the song is available for digital downloads in Itunes and the proceeds will got to cancer related charities/foundations.

Taylor wrote the song inspired by and dedicated to her 3 year old fan, Ronan Thompson after reading a blog  written by Mrs. Maya Thompson, Ronan's mom. All I know about Ronan is that he was a Taylor Swift fan who died in 2011 because of cancer. I saw his pic this morning on twitter and he was just this cute little blue-eyed boy, a boy who was once full of hope and dreams. I can see in the picture that he was so happy in spite of the struggles, problems, and all of the things he was facing for such an early age. I just hope this freaking disease won't kill children or young people anymore. It's just so sad knowing that they can't live any longer.

This song is definitely, no doubt, one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. Taylor doesn't really fail us for what we are craving for. I'm actually teary-eyed right now. She never fails to touch our hearts with her songs, with her words, with her melodies. the first time I heard the song, goose bumps everywhere. Tears were streaming down my face. Everything in the world just slowed down until the song ended.

I think it is very noble for artists to donate the proceeds of their songs to charity and that is why I love people like them, like Taylor and Miley, Demi and Selena, the reason why they are so blessed.. That's why when I become famous too, I'll do the same thing. :P

Liar Game Season 1 (Japanese TV Series)

OK! First post for Septembaaaahhhhh! God, how long has it been since I last posted? Anyway, as the title indicates, this post is about a Japanese TV Series, LIAR GAME, which I just finished watching all of the episodes an hour ago.

Yesterday, September 6, 2012, I was surfing the web and looking for a site where I can watch the movie X-Game, a Japanese horror film. I am a fan of Asian works especially when it comes to their horror films, damn they got my votes! But instead of finding the link or sites where I can watch the said Japanese film, what i saw was a link to a tv series entitled Liar Game. When I saw the title, I thought it's a horror TV series so I got excited to watch it BUT patiently researched about it first to verify. Well, I got disappointed for knowing that it is not a horror TV series but again, as I read the plot from WIKIPEDIA, I got excited.  HAHA! I found out that it was also an adaptation from a very successful manga.

Nao Kanzaki (Toda Erika)

"Nao Kanzaki (Toda Erika), is a college student who is known for her honesty and naivete. One day, she receives a black postcard indicating that she has been selected to participate in the "Liar Game Tournament". Along with the postcard is a box with 100 million yen (about $1,000,000). The goal of the first round of the game is to trick the other player out of their hundred million yen. At the end, the winner would get to keep the hundred million earned, and the loser owes the LGT (Liar Game Tournament office) 100 million yen, which "will be collected by any means and at all costs". Initially, she was frightened by this disturbing game, but was soon relieved when she discovered that her opponent was her second year junior high school teacher, Mr. Fujisawa. Because of her honest personality, Nao was easily tricked into giving Mr. Fujisawa her 100 million yen. She was devastated and reached out to police for help. The police could not help her and suggested that she ask help from Shinichi Akiyama (Matsuda Shota), a genius swindler who was recently released from jail for single-handedly bankrupting one of the biggest scamming companies in Japan. After learning the story from Nao, Akiyama decided to help her to win this Liar Game."

I also read that it also did well on its rating while it was airing in Japan from April 17-June 23, 2007.

What I thought about the show/characters:

Shinichi Akiyama (Matsuda Shota)

Honestly speaking, in my opinion, I think that this show contains the most irritating and most frustrating actors  that I have ever watched. And for that, I want to praise these actors because they did a good job for irritating me knowing that it is their intention. The antagonists are all so good that I want to smash the screen of my laptop, and I also like Erika Toda's acting. She actually did well, acting as an innocent, pure, and honestly stupid girl. As well as Shota Matsuda, he is this really cool detective like awesome like cool guy just like Shinichi Kudo from Detective Conan (is it only co-incidence that they have the same first name?). This is actually one of the reasons why I got hooked up in this show, it reminds me of Detective Conan. And also what caught my attention is the very beautiful LGT secretariat (Michiko Kichise), who is also the daughter of the main person behind the Liar Game. She's so cute, beautiful and actually resembles my mom.

I love the show for it's very logical theme, for it's comical environment, for it's irritating scenes, for everything. This show made me realize that not all people in the world can be trusted, of course, I know that, but I knew also that even if you give them a second, third, fourth, or so many chances, they will just do the same but don't just lose hope yet. Just what  Nao did, she kept on trusting these people around them in spite of everything they did to her. I also got inspired by her quotation:

"If we don't deceive or hurt each other, I'm sure everyone will be happy".

So obviously, the themes in the series are all about about greediness, schemes, honesty, lies, and what else can I think of?

If I get stuck on a game like this or in an incident like Nao's, I sure want a person Akiyama beside me all of the time. It's a sure win for both of us :)

I look forward on watching the 2nd season of this show and also the adaptation film!

Busy reading 50 Shades Trilogy (We Aim To Please)

50 Shades Trilogy

Ok. So it's been a week since I last posted a post (what else?) in my blog and I just want to say, it's because of the effect and my addiction to this EROTIC LOVE STORY NOVEL that I am reading since Last FRIDAY, 24th of August, 2012. I just finished thefirst book, 50 Shades of Grey, last Sunday, 2nd book, 50 Shades Darker, yesterday and started the Third book, 50 Shades Freed. In my mind, I want to finish the book the hell right now but my subconscious is telling me to read it slowly, savor each lines, feel each paragraph and emotionally read the whole book for this may be the last story I will read about Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, and I'm surprised that my inner god is agreeing with him, doing a triple back flip while skateboarding on an ice skating rink.Oh my gosh, another useless-senseless-crap. lol

Some of the actors the fans want to play for the role of Christian Trevelyan-Grey.

MATT BOMER should play Grey, hands down, even though he's openly gay. 


By the way, I know a lot of people are reading it too, including my friends, and a lot have already read the whole trilogy and patiently waiting til the adaptation film for the said book becomes available in the cinemas. And I am too, is patiently waiting, constantly arguing who shall be the lead casts, and uncontrollably reading the third book. I am so paranoid. I cried once, well, only a tear, while reading the first book, 4 times during the 2nd book and who the hell knows how many times my tear'll fall while reading this damn third book, it might be double than the 2nd book. Preparing my tissues. 

At first, I don't want to read this trilogy, written by E.L. James because it isn't my thing, unlike detective stories, mysteries, thriller, horror , yeah, those are my things. i heard about the book when it trended on twitter because it snatched the record, which is I think "The fastest selling?", not sure though, from the Harry Potter series when Lord Voldemort, yeah, the hilarious epic dud from twitter tweeted it. And also, because my goddess, MILEY CYRUS also read and finished it.  And of course, I hate love story. It makes me cry, embarrasses me all the time. Curse you lovingly-stupid-idiotic-but-obviously-huge heart. I'm too emotional for those kinds of things.

I tell you, when you begin reading the book in the morning, you won't notice you are still reading the book and it's already midnght. What the f? yeah. That's right. Except if you are a fast reader who can understand the story while reading 89765 words per minute.

But I tell you again, this TRILOGY IS GOOD. It's beyond my expectations. Like the saying, Don't judge the book by its cover especially if it's an EROTIC-LOVE STORY-THRILLER-LUSTFUL novel. I will surely miss the ChristAna love team. 

BYE! I'm going to continue the third book. I don't want to tell about the books because I don't want to spoil you from such great happenings, taking the lust, love, sadness, and emotions away from you, that you will read on it, although I want to warn you there are so many spoilers all over the internet.
