Miley Cyrus Covers Cosmopolitan (Full Photos + Interview)

Dear Entertainment Diary,

I've been a fan of Miley Cyrus since I was in my fourth year high school and it was, I think, 6 years ago! I've been her fan since Hannah Montana started on Disney Channel and until today and forever comes, I'll still support my lovely goddess!

Let's make this post short. I was browsing on twitter and I just stumbled upon this photo by @Cosmopolitan RTed by @MileyCyrus, the first part of her cover, making us patiently waiting while our libido is urging!

The photo below, the whole part, was uploaded in a Facebook page Mileynatics Philippines by #ERICKA(EROC) and to some other Miley pages all over the net so I'm not sure who the real culprit is to blame for leaking the photo although we can see her finger with a red nail polish. :D

And here are more pics of Miley, including the one on the toppest part of this post! HQ people!

Isn't she a true goddess? A very sexy human being?I've never imagined that she would be this hot! That cleavage? WOW!

I just hope it'll be available here in the Philippines!

I'm going to update more if I see her other cosmo pics on the net :)

Here is the interview of Miley in the said Magazzine:

Miley Cyrus Is Our March Cover Girl!

In the two years after her mega-hit show ended, Miley Cyrus has gotten engaged, shaved her head, made a couple of movies and is about to drop a hugely anticipated album. Now, this uncensored star answers to nobody but herself.

The room I'm in with Miley Cyrus, just off the entryway of her mansion in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, used to house her dad's guitars. Recently refurbished, now it's one hundred percent Miley: a room stocked with mementos that show who this former child star used to be and who she is now, at age 20.

There's a picture of 5-year-old Miley sitting in the lap of her dad, Billy Ray, at SeaWorld. Nearby is a photo of her in a passionate clinch with Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, taken mere hours after they got engaged. A book of art from Tim Burton, who directed Miley in her first film, Big Fish, dominates a table, while a cast photo from her new movie, So Undercover, sits on a book shelf a little farther away. Under that photo is a tree branch that Miley's former security guard expertly carved into the shape of a guitar's headstock and fretboard--a reminder that Miley will soon release a buzzed-about new album, her first since wrapping the show that made her famous.

The room can barely contain the energetic star, who tries to settle in a chair, then bounds up to perch on its armrest, and at other times, leans in to show off the contents of her iPhone, filled with pictures of Liam, her dogs, and screenshots from the TV movie Liz and Dick. She's dressed casually in a plaid button-down, but her hair is white blonde and shaved on the sides, the kind of look that can be rocked only by a woman who's truly confident in herself. Whatever else she is, that's Miley.

Cosmo: If I asked you to rank the parts of your life that you feel most satisfied with--love, family, music, acting--what would be at the top?

Miley: Number one is my relationship with Liam. That's what I feel the most confident in because you never know; there's so much hype behind my new record, but it could come out and, worst-case scenario, everyone fucking hates it.

Cosmo: But you seem proud of it.

Miley: Definitely, it's the second thing that I'm most content with. I've never gotten to make a record like this because Disney's always been on my back saying, "You've got to promote the TV show in two months, so make sure your record's done...and when you promote your record, can you promote the show, the movie, and the Hannah Montana record?" I was basically carrying two people's careers and trying to make mine the priority. Now, it's almost like being a new artist and trying to make a first impression. I think the best thing I could have done was take those two years off to really live, because now people don't think of me as who I was on the TV show.

Cosmo: Do you think they ever really did? When pictures from your personal life would leak, they presented a very different image than Hannah Montana.

Miley: Some of the worst things that have happened in my career, like things getting leaked, have actually been what's best for me, because people knew when I was on that show that I was really growing up. I never faked anything. I never played the Disney game of smiling and being a princess and then suddenly having a hard time, saying, "That isn't who I really am."

Cosmo: You collaborate with many unexpected names on this record. Safe to say you have a new sound?

Miley: I wrote this song with Mary J. Blige, and Tyler the Creator heard it and said, "I am obsessed with this song, and I will guest on it if you promise me that you will keep it on the album." And he killed it! I really didn't want to make a hip-hop record, and I'm not trying at all to be a Rihanna or a Nicki [Minaj]....That's not my vibe. When I was growing up, my older brother would sneak me Nelly CDs, my dad had me listening to Dolly [Parton] and Johnny [Cash], and my mom is a complete metal head. So this record is a weird mixture of all that.

Cosmo: Unlike a lot of musicians, you celebrate your competition.

Miley: Katy Perry's been my friend for fucking five years, and I'm not ever gonna let our work get between that relationship. If Katy sticks with being Katy, and Ke$ha is Ke$ha, and Rihanna is Rihanna, and I'm me, there's room for everybody. The problem is when people look at Gaga and say, "Oh, that works; I'm going to be like that."

Cosmo: What are you listening to?

Miley: Frank Ocean's record is so good. And I like that he came out and admitted he was gay, because that still affects people's careers. If you don't think it does, it fucking does, and he did not care. I think it's going to make him even bigger.

Cosmo: Really?

Miley: Yeah! Now he's going to have much more loyal fans. If you want to know who's gonna buy your record for the rest of your life, get Brazilians and gays on your side.

Cosmo: Why Brazilians?

Miley: I don't know! My dad told me that when I was little. And my last tour there, there were 20,000 people in one night. It was insane!

Cosmo: Tell me about your newest film, So Undercover.

Miley: I did this right after I ended Hannah, so that was a completely different person from the person who is sitting here now. I don't want people to now see that film and then listen to my record and go, "Well, who is she? Who is she trying to be?" The timing kind of sucks, because I want it to be about the album.

Cosmo: Does it put a dent in your enthusiasm to act?

Miley: I'm definitely putting acting on the back burner, although I loved doing Two and a Half Men. You work on a movie for three months and you either become emotionally attached to it or hate it...and then it's torture having to tell people to watch it, because you could barely watch it. In music, you have the control. But with acting, some times you get put in a bad situation.

Cosmo: Let's talk about Liam. Do you ever have these moments when you're still struck by how hot he is?

Miley: Yeah, all the time! I'll literally look at him and be like "You are hot, dear god!" The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, "I'm gonna faint--the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot." So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone. My best friend grabbed my phone and was like, "Who's that? He is so hot!" That's my hubby!

Les Misérables (2012 Film)

"It is either Valjean or Javert."

Dear Entertainment Diary,

I don't know how to begin this post because as to this moment, I'm still filled with emotions brought by watching this musical drama, Les Misérables.

Honestly speaking, I cannot remember some parts of this story although we already tackled and studied it in school and so I took this moment to freshen it up in my mind and I still can't believe that I made one of the best decisions in my life! To tell you the truth, I had some troubles downloading the film for it was to big (well, for me) to download as it is 2.3 gb but I took some chances no matter what and then after 2 days of noncontinuous downloading, it's already in my laptop! Heck yeah! This is the largest file size I ave ever downloaded in the history of my laptop to date. And now, my hard drive was down its availability to 5 gb! LOL.

Moving on to the film...

It is great! I'm so happy I decided to watch the film. The 2 and a half hours of watching it were so well spent. Emotions were all over me while watching it, tears were shed, goosebumps were amazingly felt and some lessons sank in into my mind!

The casts were all so good that I even sang to some of the songs I know in the film. Thanks to the subtitles that I also downloaded! Hugh, Russel, Anne, Amanda, Samantha, Eddie, and all of the actors and actresses all did their jobs very well. Emotions were perfectly executed. The scenes, the songs, the choreography, everything, were perfectly shown!

I can't believe that with just 2 hours and a half, the people behind this movie gave and showed us the important details we all need to know.

I wasn't actually expecting for a full length musical film when I heard about this adaptation. I was looking forward for movie musicals like High School Musical where there were like many dialogues then the singing and dancing parts were inserted in the middle of the scenes. But Alas! Even though this film was almost purely musically made, about 98% musical and 2% talking dialogues, I still loved it and the emotions were more felt. It's like I'm really watching a stage play! I just hoped I watch this is 3D. :/

No wonder this film already has so many nominations and winnings/awards including Golden Globes and Academy Awards and I hope they win, especially Anne for Best Supporting Actress and Hug for Best Actor!

What turned me off is that I thought Amanda was going to have a huge exposure in this film for the young Cosette was the one in the theatrical poster. I thought the story would revolve around her but still, it revolves to Jean and Javert. How about a cat and mouse chase, eh?

Anne Hathaway was just so good at acting while singing especially in the part of I dreamed A Dream. I can feel her hurting and hoping. Samantha Barks also stole the scene in her version of On My Own. her performance was unarguably promising. But what really mesmerized me was Hugh Jackman and Rusell Crowe. Both main casts were so good, especially in singing and acting!

To sum it all up, I enjoyed every part of the film including the saddest parts where the characters died but what a heavenly feeling I felt where the dead characters all sing together in the end!

About the film: (from wikipedia.org)
The film tells the story of Jean Valjean, an ex-convict who becomes mayor of a town in France. Soon exposed, Valjean agrees to take care of Cosette, the illegitimate daughter of the dying Fantine, but as a fugitive must also avoid being captured again by police inspector Javert. The plot spans 17 years and is set against a backdrop of political turmoil, which in the film culminates in the June Rebellion of France.

Cast:

Hugh Jackman - Jean Valjean
Russell Crowe - Javert
Anne Hathaway - Fantine
Amanda Seyfried - Cosette
Eddie Redmayne - Marius Pontmercy

Insidious (2011 Film)

Dear Entertainment Diary,

So, this afternoon, we watched a pretty scary film entitled "Insidious". Yes, I watched it with my family. It's like a bonding thingy especially we were so bored in our house.

Moving onto the film, I liked it. We all did. The atmosphere, the effects, the dialogues, the acting of the actors and actresses especially the little ones were all superb. Despite being a low budget film, it didn't fail to let the freak out of us. To tell you honestly, I actually screamed in the part where the man with a fire in his face first showed up. As if I was the one who really saw it in front of my cute face! OH MY! And that's what I like about scary films. I want to be horrified to death. Scream and shout at the top of my lungs and stuff.

About the film:
The film is not the kind of horror films about haunted houses. This time it's about haunted bodies. Yes, you heard it right. This ghosts in this film didn't want to occupy any house but they want to oown a living vessel to feel alive again. They crave for life.
It's about a boy who didn't know for himself that he is a dream traveler. That he has the ability to astral project while he is sleeping. But, Dalton, the boy who can travel through dreams, went into a coma state when he traveled too far away from reality to the spiritual world in which he thought were only dreams. He was drawn by different evil spirits to "The Further" so they can occupy his body and feel free to live again. Now, the problem was, can they take Dalton back to reality and stop the evil spirits especially the man with a fire in his face to take and own his body?

The film also amused us especially the twist and turns in the end. I actually hated that part but I have to admit that it was the best part of the film. What happened to Elise was so unexpectedly horrible which made it great! So unexpected that I even felt sorry for her. The end of the film openly finished, making the viewers wonder what really happened next.

Now, since they announced that there is gonna be a sequel I'm pretty hypes and excited to watch it now and it will be released in August, I think?

Again, Insidious is a pretty great film. It's very startling and I advise you to not watch it alone. :)

Kiss You MV by One Direction

Dear Entertainment Diary,

So finally, the much awaited ever-delaying Music Video of One Direction's latest single from their latest album TAKE ME HOME, "Kiss You'', is now released and the fangirls and guys are doing their best to break Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj's record as Most viewed music video in 24 hours. It currently has 4.8 million views after 12 hours being in YouTube/VEVO.

First of, I would like to say I enjoyed watching the video. It suits the fun environment of the song especially when the boys are doing their stuff and just having fun. I knew about their 3rd single probably last November/December and been patiently waiting to watch it since then.

The music video, as I said earlier, is very fun and very enjoyable to watch. Enjoyable than LWWY but for me, it never beats the sincerity of Little Things.

The guys, as usual, are doing stupid and fun things in the video in front of a green screen. It is showed also that the music video was shot only in the studio. Several scenes like where Zayn, Harry, and Liam were riding the motorcycle while Louis and Niall were riding the car, the boys were surfing and riding the waves while shirtlessly dancing, as well as dancing in front of a jail with jailers as back up dancers were shown. There's also a scene where they're skiing and dancing in a fake snow. Oh! I nearly forgot the part where they sing and dance in an I-think-it's-a-navy-costume?

In fairness, Niall and Louis are both active in this video. :)

Just watch this video and you will understand what fun is. Although it is kind of noticeable that they used some effort to execute fun and do some stupid stuff but in the end, the point of the video were taken. :)

My fave scenes were when Harry covered her four nipples in a funny way that he is not afraid to show us his body in spite of its additional feature. And of course, the scene where Zayn kisses Harry in the end of the video! Yeah, bromance baby.

P.S.
Sorry for not being active. My laptop is still broken and I miss blogging a lot! i think next week, our newly bought monitor will arrive. Hopefully.

Felt Like a Hero in a Sports Family Drama

Dear Entertainment Diary,

Have you ever seen a film or TV series/specials where like there's a race or 100 km (uhm?) dash and the heroes/main protagonists of the dramas or even the slightest reliable characters there were making it in the finish like in a slow motion kind of way, ready to reach the goal, and then suddenly they just stumbled on the ground? There were instances that they reach the finish line because they rolled through the finish but there were also times like they just lost and just helplessly lying in a hot or cold concrete ground.

That is what I felt this lonely hot afternoon as we were playing football. When I saw/watched those kinds of scenes, I was like, "Oh my gosh, that was just terrible. It doesn't even make sense. The finish line was right there! So close, yet they managed to slipped it to their fingers like it was not worth it.". I thought that it was kinda overacting and stuff, just to gain affection and attention of the viewers. BUT, I didn't even think for a second that it can totally happen in reality. Yes, that was what happened to me.

Story:

I was the only one alive (meaning, my team mates were all killed, in a playful kind of way, not literally), and I must kicked the ball and complete a 5 back and forth home run. We were all playing for a long time there, like an hour and so, and the bases of our field were all too many distant from each other (thanks to my brother). That's the reason I can barely breath during the first part of our game. I was almost out of breath, inhaling and exhaling very fast.

So, it was time for my home run and I made it through the first run. The second run was where it all happened. I kicked the ball not so far away, so the other team gained the ball quickly and ran towards me, ready to kill me as well. But I'm not born to give up. So, I ran quickly as I could and I could feel my ankles and knees giving up but I still fought the feeling and continuously ran to the finish line, but, when I almost reach our base, I just stumbled and rolled in a f*cking hot concrete ground. I made it on our base, but I just found myself lying still, running out of breath, feeling my scratches aching, but still proud I made it. Thanks for that rolling out scene!

The kids, my team mates and the other team, were all laughing at me and I was also laughing my ass out loud while still lying on the ground. I just know that before, I already felt dizzy and some uneasiness inside me, like I wanna throw up or something, but still, I wanna play some more. I got out of balance. That was the price to pay.

Sadly, I was shot by the ball on my fourth home run, or did they catch the ball when I kicked it? Anyways, I was killed during the fourth home run. It was the other team's turn to play and after a few shots, I went home, first. As I was walking home, that was when my head turns, my eye sights were all getting black and I just want to collapse but I still made it in our house, swaying. I instantly lay down in our sofa and called for my grandma to help me treat my wounds and scratches. Damn, at this point, they are still aching so bad. I got 2 wounds on my right knee, 1 deep wound on my left elbow, 2 scratches on my left shoulder, 1 deep wound on my left waist and some scratches on my hands and feet. It's been so long that I can't even remember when I last had a wound. My body isn't flawless anymore. :( The wounds may heal but the scars will always be there to remind me of my very epic-rolling-on-the-f*cking-hot-concrete-ground. It was awesome, yeah, but it was  frustratingly shameful as well.

SO, to sum it all up. It was a great experience for me. I proved to myself that I'm still a good fast runner and also, that the-not-making-it-in-the-finish-line-scenes I watched in this sports family drama films can all happen in reality. I stand corrected. :)

I Knew You Were Trouble. MV by Taylor Swift

Dear Entertainment Diary,

You don't know what I've been through just to watch this latest and, also, 23rd music video of our beloved pop-country superstar, Taylor Swift! I've been waiting for this like, a long time, ever since I read Tay-tay's tweet about doing a brand new video and I learned that it'll premiere worldwide in MTV and VEVO on her 23rd birthday.

So, I woke up this morning, (Philippine Time), and opening my laptop was the first thing I did. Yep, not brushing my teeth, nor rinsing my face. That's how I love Tay-tay. It's just that I am very friggin' excited to watch her new video but to my dismay, when I looked it up on mtv.com, the video is not available on my region! UGH! Unfortunately, I live in Narnia. Next time, I'll be moving to Lumpy Space in the land of Ooo and test if I can watch the premiering videos.

So, obviously I was struggling hard so I searched everywhere and I saw some on YouTube but I'm not very satisfied with the quality, probably because it was ripped off from their TV's. I saw another, but it's only 3+ minutes long. A 2 minute shorter than the original length of the video. Meaning, the prologue was cut and edited out.

And, you know me, I will not give up and crumble on a cold hard ground unlike what Taylor did. I used VPN to hide my country and surf anonymously and guess what? I watched the whole video on the MTV site! Bwahahahaha! So, who's smart now?

Anyways, enough with my dramatically insane story. I'm going to embed the whole video below and I just hope it's available in your country/region. :) If not, I suggest you use VPN too. :)

About the video:

Ok, so about the video. I LOVED IT. Normally, when I play and sing this song, I never think that it's a very hard and painful experience for the singer. I think it's a fun and quirky song where the singer is dissing her ex but as I watched the video, I felt Taylor's struggles. I felt how she felt the pain and troubles that knocked her out in the cold hard ground. Her latest video is a new transition from Taylor's old videos. She even turned punk in it! The acting was very dramatically executed and emotions were scattering all over the places! Gosh, tay-tay, you really are one of the best-EST!

Here is my post about the song when it was a promotional single: I Knew You Were Trouble.

Here is the video from YouTube guys:

It's OK Pacquiao!

All we can do now is move on and aim higher.

Dear Entertainment Diary,

Earlier today, we watched the most awaited boxing event of the year, which is "The Pacquiao vs. Marquez 4", the fourth match of the two boxers.

I am not into sports especially boxing but I always watch when it comes to Pacquiao as he is one of our country's pride. I am very excited to watch him win today, but to my horror, he lost to Marquez. He was knocked out seconds before the 6th round ended.

People were all shocked to what they saw, to what we saw. Instead of the usual stuff like shouting and applauding after the fight, many were dismayed. Manny Pacquiao? Knocked out? Well, during the beginning of the match, he already fell down once or twice, I think, but I didn't expect him to be knocked out. Damn, this is the first time that he was knocked out in their four fights.

I don't have to tell more about the event because I know many or probably all of you have watched it but, even though Pacman lost, he still is our Nation's pride. He gained himself 8 boxing world titles/the first 8th division world champion and he's even included in the Guinness World Records.

What I hate after the fight were the tweets and posts all over the internet about Pacquaio and this planking things where people post pictures of them, planking, just like how Pacquaio fell down for a minute or two.  When Pacquiao won, we, Filipinos, didn't do or trend stupid things like #ChilloComoLaEsposaDePaquiao (Squealed Like Pacquiao's Wife), #RetoPacquiao (Pacquiao Challenge) and #SufroComoLaEsposaDePacquiao (Suffer as Pacquiao's Wife). Well, I can't do anything about it.

But the questions still remain. Will this 6th round knock out by Marquez end Pacquiao's boxing career or will be there a #PacMarquez5? Will this be the last fight for our boxing champ? What made him lose? Are boxing, politics, and showbiz not made to be mixed at the same time? What will he choose?

As to whatever the answers are, we can't change the fact that he made his fellow Filipino proud, including me. Way to Go Pacquiao. You prove yourself enough, and we appreciate it. :)

I only saw the trends and their translations of Facebook and twitter, by the way.
