I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift

He was long gone when he met me, and I realize the joke is on me

So Taylor just released her 4th song from her album, Red, which will be out in the US on October 22, 2012. Our Tay-tay is really on her track at the moment and  she is very damn ready to let us know or "hear" her romantic misadventures.

My post from the past, just recently actually, is about her album's official track list and it includes the song I Knew You Were Trouble, and you know what question popped into my mind? Who's the boy this time?

Taylor shifted to full pop into this song but I can still feel her country style through her voice. This is one of a dance-ish number which we can dance with all night when we're alone in the room no matter what mood we have. Why? Because this song has a dancey electronic sound but it's meaning is kind of a negatively ending fairy tale. It is catchy, just like all of her songs. She sings her emotions out off this song, which is all about the frustrations of knowing that the boy will break her heart even before they can be together. Bummer, right? A fairy tale wrecker. I know this is a fairy tale since I heard the Once upon a time, but ended in a Happy Never After.

So, back to the question. Who broke her heart this time? Do boys still want to date Tay-tay knowing that they can be the next inspiration for a Taylor Swift song which we all know that can be a huge hit? Oh, this is old news.

As of now, I'm excited for her album to come out. Please let it be 22 tomorrow. LOL.

Many people actually didn't like the song but wth? We all have different opinions and likes. I enjoyed it and I actually think this song looks like her other song from her last album, Better Than Revenge. People are getting sick of her writing about boys and her unhappy love story/fairy tales, asking her if she can't write any other songs that ain't about it. Duh? If you really know her, she has a lot of songs which is not about BOYS, BREAK-UPS, nor LOVE. Ugh...

Just enjoy the song, ok? :)

Lyrics: (from directlyrics.com)

Once upon time
A few mistakes ago
I was in your sights
You got me alone
You found me
You found me
You bound me

I guess you didn't care
And I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard
You took a step back
Without me, without me, without me

And he's long gone
When he's next to me
And I realize the blame is on me

Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
So you put me down oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
Now i'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble

No apologies
He'll never see you cry
Pretend he doesn't know
That he's the reason why
You're drowning, you're drowning, you're drowning

And I heard you moved on
From whispers on the street
A new notch in your belt
Is all I'll ever be
And now I see, now I see, now I see
He was long gone
When he met me
And I realize the joke is on me

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
So you put me down oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
Now i'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble

When your sadest fear comes creeping in
That you never loved me or her or anyone or anything
Yeah

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
So you put me down oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
Now i'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble!
