Temptation Of Wife (2012 Philippine TV Series)

Everyone in The Philippines and in some, or probably in all, Asian countries know the 2008 Koreanovela hit TV series Temptation of Wife / Temptation of a Wife and legend says that it was the one which started the "having an affair in a relationship" trend in The Philippines and the reason why most of the tv series and films are having the same theme. Who would have thought the Kabit-kabitan theme would be a hit!

Just a few minutes ago, October 29 2012, I just watched the first episode of The Philippine remake of the hit show, Temptation of Wife, starring the GMA 7 Primetime Queen, the very beautiful Marian Rivera as Angeline. It also stars the ensemble cast of Dennis Trillo, the very unfaithful hubby of Angeline, Marcel, Glaiza de Castro as the traitor best friend, Heidi, and the new Kapuso hunk Rafael Rosell as Nigel.

The moment I heard that the the said hit Korean show will have its remake here in The Philippines, I can't stop googling and thinking about it. It is actually one of the most anticipated shows that'll air in the Kapuso network and everyone was talking about it on facebook and twitter.

I've got to say that I really loved, liked, and enjoyed watching the Pilot episode of the series. It differs a lot in terms of so many factors; characters, plot, lines, etc, but the story line is still the same.

The very first scene of the show was actually the highlight of the episode. I can't stay calm especially the slapping part between Angeline and Heidi. Epically well executed. Bravo. Screw you, Marcel.

It differs from the original show when it comes to heavy drama. I got very emotional watching the original even though their acting is not that heavily executed but this time, I got more emotional, and I don't get easily attached emotionally to any Filipino drama series. Fact.

What more can I say? The pilot episode is full of drama, surprises, and explained almost everything we need to know about the series. I just hope we won't get bored watching it during the next episodes and hopefully, more twists, surprises, and turns will happen as the show progresses. I can't wait til Angeline gets revenge for  what those nasty people have done to her. Chantal.

Marian is just plainly beautiful. No doubt to that. She's like a goddess even without make up. Glaiza de Castro is also a good antagonist but I still wish Alessandra de Rossi was the one who plays the role of Heidi, but we respect her decision. Can't wait for Rafael Rosell to appear as Nigel.

There also came to a point that I almost didn't want to watch this because of the change of cast but who am I to judge? :) To sum it all up, I loved it. The whole first episode is very well-made and all the cast and crew deserve an applause. Cheers.

The main theme from the original series was also the theme song for this remake but what makes the scenes more emotionally dramatic and adds spices and sensual feelings to the scenes is the main theme song by Kyla, Anong Daling Sabihin.

The show is currently airing in the Kapuso Network, GMA 7, after Aso ni San Roque and before Coffee Prince (Remake)  Pahiram ng Sandali and before the Koreanovela, The Princess's Man. I don't know the official time slot but I think it's 9:00 9:30 pm?

Little Things by One Direction

And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks.

One Direction just released, officially, their second single from their upcoming album, Take Me Home, which will be released November 12, 2012. It's so effin' close Directioners!

The song's title is Little Things, which was written by the very talented guy, Ed Sheeran, and he said that the song is about an ex girlfriend, describing all the little things about her he unexpectedly liked no matter how simple, how weird, or how whatever-ish those little things are.

Lyrically, it's so awesome how the words are put up together and create such sweetly made sentences. How awesome it would be to hear those odd little things about you being liked by your own guy? Right? Right? no matter how odd or weird those things are, at least someone is liking it for you, loving you for who you are and what you got.

Musically, it's just acoustically plain and simple which make it great and soulful. That's what I like about such songs, being acoustically recorded without that much edit, dubsteps, autotune, and synthesizers and stuff. Ed is such an awesomely cool singer-songwriter.

This song is just very sweet and probably surpassed More Than This as my most favorite 1D song.

The lyrics video of the song is cool as well, simply done and old fashionably film-like video. The song's not that fast so we can sing along to the lyric video unlike the other lyric video where I cannot read the lyrics because of how fast the effects and transitions are.

Let's just wait for the boys' music video of the song and just enjoy the official lyric video:

Oh! and btw, currently, Little Things is trending frenzy on twittttaahhhh!

To The Moon (Video Game)

If it's true love and meant to be, no matter how many times you two get separated, in the end you'll end up being together.

I have never been so sadly and emotionally attached to a video game ever before and what's happening to me now perfectly elaborates that there's really a first time for everything, no matter how childish it is.

To The Moon is a perfect game to play during sleepless nights or even during boring daytimes and once you started playing it, you don't want to turn off your computer because of your crave to know what's going to happen next in the story.

Description of the Game (from: Freebird):

"Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts have rather peculiar jobs:

They give people another chance to live. Literally.

There exists a technology that allows doctors to weave artificial memories, such that a patient can request attempts to alter their mind, and wake up with memories of things that didn’t actually happen.

However, since these new memories are permanent, the conflict between them and the existing authentic memories clash in such a way that it ceases the person’s ability to properly function.

Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives… but didn’t.

But creating a new memory is not as simple as pressing a button.

The technology requires the doctors to step into the memories of the patient, which are reconstructed as interactive scenes. The doctors then gradually traverse backwards through memories of the patient’s life until they reach childhood — at which point, the wish of the patient in present time would be transferred over.

Along with the doctors’ influence, the patient (as a child) could then lead an entire different life inside their head, working toward and fulfilling their dying wish themselves.

And if all goes well, they would wake up, having lived the dream life they never had, and embrace a brief moment of blissful fulfillment.

Shortly after, they’d draw their last breath.

Every once in a while, there comes a life that is rather peculiar.

This particular story follows Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts’ attempt to fulfill the dream of the dying elderly man, Johnny. In their mission to do so, they traverse backwards through the man’s memories, unfolding his curious life story before their eyes.

With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny’s past is revealed. And as the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.

And Johnny’s last wish is, of course… to go to the moon. "

This game probably is one of the best games I have ever played in my life and believe me, I'm not that addicted to computer games and I only rarely play some unless it's on my phone or it's really that addicting.

I'm very impressed on how the story are flawlessly woven and put up together. The story of the game is pretty romantically and dramatically serious but it was greatly and overwhelmingly beaten up by some comically epic and modern lines by the comical doctor duo; Neil and Eva, but Neil mostly say the funny stuff.

I'm telling you again, when you start playing it, you'll sure not want to stop because of the urge of knowing what'll happen next! I played it only with 2 days and I can finish it with only one or less than a day if it hadn't only for the reason to turn off my laptop.

It's like a visual novel type of adventure RPG kinda game that's why I chose to play it. I like games with story worth knowing and remembering and this game just have it all. It also has a solving puzzles part which can test your way of solving some puzzles fast. Ideal.

I assure you that this game is one of the best and worth a shot! If it's a novel, I'll sure read it. The story actually serves as my 2nd favorite romantic story, only next to the very unbeatable 50 Shades Trilogy. Damn I miss Ana AND Christian.

The Music/OST of the game is worth listening for your ears as well especially the main theme song "Everything's Alright" by Laura Shigihara.

Begin Again Music Video (Taylor Swift)

All Love ever does is break, and burn, and end.

Just a month ago, photos of Taylor Swift dating with a guy in Paris surfaced the world wide web and fans were talking about it. Yes, they were talking about the shoot of Taylor Swift's latest music video for her single, Begin Again. I admit I waited for this video to come out on YouTube or on Vevo, looking forward for a very simple-looking Taylor just like what she looked like in her other video Back To December, and now it came true and Taylor is just simply amazing and stunning. How could you hate such beauty and talent?

I think the MV was released probably more than 10 hours ago and I don't know where I was at so I'm gonna post about it now.

Begin Again is the second official single from Taylor's latest album offering, Red, and it's one of the saddest songs from the album. It's simply fantastic which also effortlessly touches our hearts because of its melody and sweet lyrical words about one of her first dates and all the awkwardness and vulnerabilities that go along with it.

Taylor floats, rides a bike, and sings passionately in the streets and rivers or waters of Paris while wearing simple but elegant dresses with of course, her RED lipstick. This is just a perfect video for a slow sad song and it's just heavenly heartwarming and very pleasant for our eyes to see. Tay-tay isn't one of your hoes, ya'll.

The video is just lovely and romantically dreamy especially the part that it was shot in Paris, France, like, hell yeah!

Can you tell me who's the guy in this vid? Can't seem to find his name anywhere.
Enjoy the vid! :D

So, Red just sold more than a million copies in the States with just less than a week which make her an artist with 2 albums that sold more than a million within a week! LIKE, omg, Speak Now was the first and now, this! I don't blame them. Red is just epically amazing and critically acclaimed! Tay-tay is the bomb at the moment! Way to go, Swifties! We did it! :)

Red's Hidden Messages (Taylor Swift)

Taylor has her own unique way of sharing her experiences through her songs; love, family, friends, etc., but that's not all. In every booklet/digital booklet in her albums, there are hidden messages in its lyrics.

It's like decoding some secret stuff using free decoder rings from cereal boxes telling us the secret of universe and all. But instead of decoder rings, Taylor gives us digital booklets where the lyrics of her songs on the album were written in small and capital letters. The rule is: Find all the CAPITAL LETTERS and make words, phrases, or even sentences by combining or putting it all together in the order how they appeared in the lyrics.

Of course, we all dig it since we all wanna know the hidden messages behind the songs like who's the inspiration when she was writing and composing it or to whom will she dedicate it and stuff. Clues are given, why should we let it slip through us when there's a chance we may know the stories behind the songs and mostly, her love life. Clues could be a person's name, initials, places, or even events, but mostly sentences/phrases.

So last night, I decoded the hidden messages and I've got to say that it's not that easy. It's pretty hard especially when you are thinking why the heck are All Too Well and 22's page are missing? How can I possibly decode the lyrics if the booklet is missing a page and  why would it miss All Too Well's? It's like one of the songs that I wanna sing along to and simply, one of the best I have heard. Moving on, Speak Now is easier to decode.

So here's what I got:

State of Grace- I Love You Doesn't Count After Goodbye
Red- SAG
I Knew You Were Trouble - When You Saw Me Dancing
Treacherous - Wont Stop Till Its Over
I Almost Do - Wrote This Instead Of Calling
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together - When I Stopped Caring What You Thought
Stay Stay Stay - Day Dreaming About Real Love
The Last Time - LA on your Break
Holy Ground - When You Came to the Show In SD
Sad Beautiful Tragic - While You were On a Train
The Lucky One - Wouldnt You Like To Know
Everything Has Changed - Hyiannis Port
Starlight - For Ethel
Begin Again – I Wear Heels Now
As you can see, All Too Well and 22 is not included and fans are wondering why. Even legit buyers from iTunes or illegitimate downloaders from torrent and file sharing site are getting confused why would someone let this mistake happen. And I thought that the release of Red would be flawless. I Spoke to soon. I just hope someone friggin' fix this. Anyhow, I searched the web and finally found out what the hidden secrets behind the two missing songs are:

All Too Well - Maple Lattes
22 - ASHLEY(Ashley Avignone) DIANNA(Dianna Agron) CLAIRE(Claire Winter) SELENA(Selena Gomez)

Now, we are done decoding the hidden mysterious messages from each of the songs on the album and the only dilemma left is what the heck are they implying to signify?

As always, Swifties and other people who want to snoop around their noses in other people's businesses are arguing about the facts behind the clues.

Here is Perez Hilton's "Theory":
"OK, so this is what we think: It starts off with her breakup with John Mayer and THEN she meets Jake Gyllenhaal at the Screen Actors Guild AKA SAG, who fell for her when he saw her dancing!
Then, things weren't going so well but she wasn't quite willing to quit the relationship, yet she also didn't want to admit she still loved him.
Then, finally her and Jake break up and are NEVER getting back together, but she still holds hope for love. Then, perhaps her and Jake get together again while he's in LA, but THEN she meets her current beau Conor Kennedy!
AAaannnd pretty much the rest of the songs tell the tale of her falling in love with Conor and her blossoming friendship with his grandmother Ethel Kennedy… the phrases that read Hyiannis port and Ethel are obviously about the Kennedys!"

But on the post's comment section, fans are raging saying that some of it were wrong:

Krk: LA on your break= Tim Tebow and there fateful and short "romance".
Haley: Taylor said the album would state and end with the same relationship, which is actually not John Mayer but Jake Gyllenhaal. "Twin Fire Signs, 4 blue eyes" is Jake. They're both Sagittarius. Note the next song: "SAG" or maybe "Swift and Gyllenhaal".
"Begin Again" is her and Will Anderson after her and Jake broke up.
Haley: And Treacherous - 'Won't Stop Til It's Over' is a lyric in Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap
In "All Too Well" she says "Your sweet disposition and my wide eyed gaze" …
Helen7: in 22 she spells ASHLEY(ashley avignone) DIANNA(dianna agron, right before the A there's an I) CLAIRE(claire winter) SELENA(selena gomez)
Well, at least some of it sounds factually true. In any case, fans and people around the world will still continue the speculations and rumors about Tay-tay's life. About the true meaning behind these clues she has shared and given to us? Only Taylor knows.

Red (Taylor Swift Album)

Taylor Swift's anticipated album, Red, has surfaced online 4 days before its release and fans and critics are all talking about it now. Leaked! I know some strong Swifties are not downloading or listening to the songs yet and patiently waiting for the official release of Red. Hang on there little buds.

So shame on me for listening to Taylor's new album. What can I say? I don't have the guts to wait until October 22, I mean, I've been so excited for so many months now just to hear her songs and even updated my blog for 5 of her songs. Sorry. I don't have enough will power.

I've got to say that Red is one of my favorite album to date. Why? Simply because I love Taylor. I love how she writes her experiences and transcribe it into songs. I love how she never gave up on love despite all the heartbreaks she's been through. And simply because her songs, especially in this one, are all so easy to relate with.

I've been listening to her since Teardrops on my Guitar and I noticed that every time she released an album, she gets more mature on every song with a dash of being majestically fantastic and fairy tale-ey. this album, she got more mature, lyrically and melodically, and, she traveled a more pop rock road especially when she released her 1st single from the album, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. It then followed by 4 songs but only Begin Again and Red remind me of the old Taylor we know. She is now being fierce and strong musically, expanding her fan base.

So a lot of us thought that Taylor is leaving her country style behind but I guess we are wrong. We stand corrected. On her latest album, Taylor offered us songs which will remind us of the Taylor we know. the fun loving, kindhearted, and never-giving-up-on-love country princess. Yes, she might have a lot of fast-clubbing-dancey-songs in Red, but we can still feel her country self because of the instruments she used and especially on how she pronounced her words from the songs' lyrics.

My Thoughts:

State of Grace - The last promotional single released explaining how taylor found love and all the possibilities that may happen, good or not. I love how she sings oh-oh-oh-oh-whoah-oh-oh and how she bravely but effortlessly shifted from her country style to some different genre, overpowering our musical minds and loving it.

Red - This song is my most favorite song from the album. The title track contains lyrics and words explaining her colorful love.

Treacherous - A very romantic but dangerous lover story for loving a bad boy. Taylor's voice is just so perfect for singing emotional verses.

I Knew You Were Trouble - This song is one of the songs that sang by the new Taylor. DUBSTEP. This song is very fearless especially its lyrics, not being ashamed to the world saying that she's being used or something when she fell for someone she already knew was trouble from the very start she laid eyes on him!

All Too Well - the only song from the album where there are 2 consecutive the same letters on each word. HAHA! One thing got my attention to this beautifully written love song, the scarf! This is a love story about a scarf. HAHA! Just Kidding! This actually is very country-ish and reminds us of her previous album, Speak Now. Maybe it's an indication, saying whether what genre she will be into, she will never leave her country music. This is one of the best from the album as well.

22 - A very fun song telling a story on how they talked and made fun of their exes and feeling 22! Aside from being a happy song, our country star still told us some conflicts and problems she experienced.

I almost Do - A ballad about how she wanted to reconnect with her ex but is not ready to face another goodbye, afraid on risking her heart to be hurt again and torn into pieces.

We Are Never Ever getting Back Together - A huge hit when it was released, the first indication that Taylor experimented her music and ready to travel a new genre. A song about saying NO to her ex. how they will never ever getting back together, like ever.

Stay Stay Stay - This song reminds me of her song Ours, only a little faster and sillier. A song how they almost broke up and then they talked the next morning about it. It's kind of a funny story especially when the guy wore a helmet before talking to her after Taylor threw the phone to him last night.

The Last  Time (Feat. Gary Lightbody) - A duet by Snow Patrol's lead singer and Taylor Swift, telling us all their Last Time's on everything about their relationship.

Holy Ground -  Another fast tune from the country singer but we can still recognize her country style because of the guitar plucking and on how she sang and pronounced the lyrics. A nice song about a relationship that ran on New York Time. She also told us she wanna dance but only will if he dances with her.

Sad Beautiful Tragic - A very sad and slow song telling us a beautiful magic but sad beautiful tragic love affair. This song is perfect for a slow dance in prom nights and high school dances. I imagine myself dancing with the person I love when I listen to this song.

The Lucky One - Another one of my fave songs from this new album telling us a story of the perils or danger of fame. A song with a story of a then famous celebrity and how she left all the fortune and fame in exchange to live a normal but happy life. I love the song's story especially the part where Taylor finally realized why the Hollywood celeb made her decision and telling her she's right when she's finally experiencing the stuff the former celebrity had experienced when her name is up in lights. This song reminds me of  her song Untouchable. Let's just hope Taylor won't leave us any sooner.

--I actually thought at first that this is a love story about Zac Efron because the song's the title is also the title of Zac's film.

Everything Has Changed ft. Ed Sheeran - A love song where the 2 famous singers serenade each other, telling us the story of a force of a new and sudden love being felt. A perfect duet and I love how their voices touch and embrace each other, blending together creating a perfect harmony.

Starlight - Another dance-able tune that reminds me of Mine. The falsetto, the breathing, the lowliness of her voice, all in this song makes me love the whole album more. It makes me think of myself listening to it under a starry starry night, dancing outside all by myself.

Begin Again - the first song I heard from the album that reminds me of the country Taylor especially after hearing we Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. This is a song about one of her first dates and all the vulnerabilities accompanying it.

These are all enough to put this album to the top of the charts! Congrats Tay-Tay!

This is what I think of all the songs of the album. It's a very good album, surpassing her previous, Speak Now, on my musical point of view. Now, Red has been receiving Rave reviews all over the net. I'm telling you again that I don't consider my blog post here as reviews. Thanks. :)

Officially, All Too Well and I Almost Do have slain my precious little heart every time I listen to those melodically heartbreaking love songs... The Lucky One, just a perfect story..
