Christina Grimmie - My Youtube Idol

"Hey Guys, You Raaawwwkkk!"

"Hey Guys!", one of her catchphrases which she always say probably almost in the beginning in all of her videos. I'm telling you now, first things first, This Christina Grimmie is one of the most talented person I know and I idolize her for that.

I first recognized her music when she sang a Medley of Miley Cyrus's songs. Of course,I dug it, it's Miley's. LOL. She is known in youtube as zeldaxlove64, her username in the video sharing site. She is a pianist and also a singer that does covers of massive hit songs and sing it like the songs is her original compositions. She also gained popularity when she did a duet on the song JUST A DREAM with Sam Tsui, another youtube star.

For me, she is the best youtube sensation that I know, aside from the fact that she has currently more than 1.7 million subscribers on her YouTube account and has 320 million video views. In most of her videos, she covers the songs live, only playing with piano, doing the song acoustically, and sings it like her own songs by giving such massive styles which I love very much. That's what I like about her, doing a cover live and spicing up songs to make it more enjoyable to hear unlike the other YouTube stars who sing songs pre-recorded and auto-tuned, edited, and stuffs then shoot a video lip synced.

I like and idolize her so much that I even practice and learn to play piano so I can play like her and, I learn how to play it but unfortunately not like and good as her. :D HAHA! I love her covers so much I even play it everyday and out loud even the people in our house were still asleep. She is known for covering songs of Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and many other artists.Oh. Adele and her favorite vocalist Christina Aguilera too.

I love her cover version of the songs Just a Dream, Skyscraper, The One That Got Away, Someone Like You, and most especially, her version of Titanium which blew me off away because of her reaching all the high notes and musical stuffs and currently my most fave video of hers.

She is currently 18 years old and she released her album Find Me last year which contains epic songs especially Liar Liar, Find Me, King of Thieves, and Advice.

I'm hoping that I'll be like her someday. I want to learn to play piano like her and sing songs and make it like my own just like how she does it. :) Oh and she even toured with Selena Gomez and opened for her in her concert, how awesome is that? Totally epic!

Team Grimmie, Yu Raaawwwkkk! She had an awesome hair but now she has a different hair style, and I still like it. I like her old hair style more, tho.

Enjoy her cover of Titanium. Soooo awesome!:

Liar Game Season 2

So I am currently watching the Season 2 of Liar Game (I have a post about its 1st Season in the past).

Truth be told, I enjoyed watching its previous season and now, I'm loving it more probably because the current season is way funnier especially the facial expressions of the casts and more importantly during the scenes where they are explaining the tricks, schemes, or even the game/round. Many characters from the previous season returned to reprise their roles especially Erika Toda and Matsuda Shota as the two protagonists Nao Kanzaki and Shinichi Akiyama respectively, and including Michiko Kichise as Eri, as the very beautiful LGT Secretariat.

Liar Game Season 2 is about the a continuation of the the game that they thought they had already escaped two years earlier. The Liar Game players are already living their own lives like as it was before the damned game started and they thought it is already finished since they know who was the one started it and made them compete involuntarily. But one day, Nao received an invitation from the LGT Office stating that the round 4 of the game is going to begin. She hesitated on joining at first since they did everything to escape from the previous round and also because Shinichi is nowhere to be found. Nao later decided to join the game again after realizing there is something she must do, "to help and save the new players from the LGT". On the way to the venue, she met a mysterious player who is introduced in the semi-beginning of the episode as a psychology teacher Ryo Katsuragi. When Nao reached her destination, she is then teamed up with Fukunaga (also a previous player who they befriended/fought with) and Shinichi who participated in the game again to know who the real person/s behind the Liar Game is/are.

I haven't finished the series yet and currently in episode 4 that's why I can't tell many things about it but I can assure you that if you watch this series, you'll enjoy it as much as you enjoy watching the 1st season. More plots are being weave and added since the beginning and the psychological stuffs are getting more interesting than  the previous. The stupidity of the characters, as well as the harshness of explaining the logical schemes made by the characters or being full of themselves are more comical. So far, the only difference between the 2 seasons is Nao now knows (tongue twister?) how to fool people all by herself unlike in the first season where she can't even lie without the help of Akiyama.

Right now, several questions are clouding inside my mind.
  • Will they make it to the final stage, or should I ask, will this season show the final stage or should I watch the movie Liar Game:  The Final Stage to know and answer this damn question?
  • Will Nao and Shinichi end up being lovers in the end? I've been asking this question since watching last season and got disappointed.
  • Is Ryo and Shinichi were close friends in the past or are they related to each other?
  • Why is the LGT Secretariat didn't play as the dealer during the Round 4?
  • Why is the dealer in round 4 looks so weird? Why is she wearing too much make-up? She looks like a clown.
  • Why is the final stage called as Garden of Eden and what is the importance if the apple being shown in some of the episodes?

These are some of the questions clouding up inside my head and I desperately wanna know the answers but right now I can't watch it cause I need to rest. LOL
Nothing much more to say since its just like its previous season. Same theme, genre, and all. :)

Central Bank of the Philippines Website GOT HACKED!

I was watching Saksi, a news program aired every night on GMA 7 while twittering and found out that the official website of the BANGKO SENTRAL NG PILIPINAS got hacked. I went to the website to see what the hackers did and this is the content of the page.

They said that they hacked the site because of the newly passed bill in the Philippines, The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, in which they say "ends the freedom of expression in the Philippines" which I think is kind of true and the hacker/s are asking for a revision of the said bill in which they think is for the betterment of the Filipino denizens.

According to the news, the site just got hacked before 11 p.m. last night, September 26, 2012.

What do you think about this situation? About the hacking of one of the government official websites. In my college days, we have studied about hacking and cracking. Hacking is opening or breaking into someone's site or computer stuffs that are being protected by passwords but not changing it's content because the hacker only wants to test the vulnerability of the site while Cracking is breaking into the site and changing some or many contents in the site or even the password.

Do you think that the government's capability of securing their websites aren't good enough that's why people can break into their sites or the hackers/crackers are just that good? Do you think this is the right way for the people to be heard by the government? Does someone need to hack their website to be heard?

I clearly see that they got the government's and the people's attention.

What can you say about this? I just hope that the people who passed the bill will revise it. I know that it's for the Filipino's own good, that's why it's name is Cybercrime Prevention act, to prevent people on doing crimes in the cyber world but I just hope that we can still use one of our rights, the freedom of expression, to say what we really think, to express what we really feel, to voice out our own opinion by not harming anyone.

As of now, 12:27 AM, Sept. 27, 2012, the site is on it's normal state.

Begin Again by Taylor Swift

"on a Wednesday in a cafe I watched it begin again"

What the hell? Taylor just released her new song from her upcoming album RED, which will be out very very soon. Excited much about it? YESSSSSSS! Very, since I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan for like so many years now.

So as I said earlier, she released her 2nd official single from her album after We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. I'm so psyched up since this is the third song I heard from her since she released WANEGBT, the other song is Ronan, and I have posts about both of those songs here in my blog.

The title of the new track is Begin Again which brings us back the Taylor we know since she lessen her country style in her previous single. Her new song is a soft country ballad that contains very romantically well-written  and mature lyrics where anyone in any age can relate.Taylor pictured about her first date in the song where her expectations for the guy was exceeded especially when she liked the time when  the guy pulled the chair for her. It also includes the insecurities left by the guy on her about the high heels she wear whom the guy didn't like, probably because of the her height which we all know that Taylor is kinda tall. It's like that Taylor is telling us that first dates may not be perfect but you still like it and then you'll watch it begin again when when you have your next date especially after months and months of thinking negatively about love because of a very horrible break-up. BREAK. BURN. END. But despite all that, You'll watch love begin Again.

Just like what I always said, Taylor never disappoints. She always gives us what we all really want which are songs that have stories where anyone or probably everyone can relate and feel sympathy. This just shows us that even though Taylor is such a huge person right now, we can always tell that she is just as normal as us when it comes to love, family, friends and including music. I will always love her songs and sing with it. I am actually listening to it in repeat right now as I am typing this post. :)

Great job Taylor Swift for writing and composing this song. No matter genre of songs you make, people enjoy it.

BEGIN AGAIN LYRICS: (from http://www.lyrics007.com)

Took a deep breath in the mirror
He didn’t like it when I wore high heels, but I do
Turned the lock and put my headphones on
He always said he didn’t get this song but I do, I do

Walked in expecting you’d be late
But you got here early
And you stand and wait
And I walk to you
You pulled my chair out and helped me
And you don’t know how nice that is
But I do

And you throw your head back laughing like a little kid
I think it’s strange that you think I’m funny ‘cause he never did
I’ve been spending the last 8 months thinking all love ever does
Is break and burn and end
But on a Wednesday in a cafe I watched it begin again

You said you never met one girl
Who has as many James Taylor records as you
But I do
We tell stories and you don’t know why I’m coming off a little shy
But I do

But you throw your head back laughing like a little kid
I think it’s strange that you think I’m funny ‘cause he never did
I’ve been spending the last 8 months thinking all love ever does
Is break and burn and end
But on a Wednesday in a cafe I watched it begin again

And we walk down the block to my car
And I almost brought him up
But you start to talk about the movies
That your family watches every single Christmas
And I won’t talk about that
For the first time, what’s past is past

‘Cause you throw your head back laughing like a little kid
I think it’s strange that you think I’m funny ‘cause he never did
I’ve been spending the last 8 months thinking all love ever does
Is break and burn and end
Then on a Wednesday in a cafe I watched it begin again
Then on a Wednesday in a cafe I watched it begin again

I am not sure for what I have posted but that is how interpret the song. I'll probably update this post if I realize that there are more important points from the song.

Die Young by Ke$sha

"While you are still in my arms, Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young"

SLAY! Yes, Kesha is slaying everyone off with her latest offering, her new lead single from her upcoming / third studio album which will be released this late 2012, WARRIOR, her latest song "DIE YOUNG".

As usual, it trended on twitter and I saw many Kesha fans are bubbling about how they enjoy the singer's new song and that got my attention since I like some of her songs, my favorite song of hers is We R Who We R. I listened to the song and gosh I got hooked up. People say that this song isn't going to be a radio hit, that it's just a piece of shit, that it's sounded like a rejected song from her previous album and now got accepted as one of the songs in her upcoming album. That's their opinion. But hey, it's not that bad. It's actually sounded what Kesha sounds, apparently.

It's still upbeat, fun, catchy, and most off all, dance-ably enjoyable. Yes, right now I'm loving it and even though people say it would not chart high in many charts (Although I think it will), I'll probably going to dance to it a few weeks more. LOL

What we know:
Goes to radios Sept 25th
Written by Ke$ha, Dr Luke, Cirkut, Benny Blanco and Nate Ruess
Has a "huge electrosynth beat"
It's "rock" with "big electronic breaks and drums"
Lyrics: "I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums...
Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone"
and "Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young"

The lyrics are also fun as hell and pretty understandable, no arguing that it's a good song. It's probably not Keha's best and strongest but the Animals (Kesha's fans, not literally pets and stuffs) still love it and it still a good song to jam and dance in the dance floor and clubs or even in the party inside your house or when you're all alone in your room and bored.

The Power of Words

"CHANGE YOUR WORDS. CHANGE YOUR WORLD."

While twittering, I found a great short-film tweeted by one of the people I follow who also follows me. The person who tweeted it is Mr. Brent N. Hunter (@brentnhunter), "It's not what you say, but how you say it". Just reading his tweet, I got curious and viewed the video. I saw it's title "THE POWER OF WORDS" uploaded by purplecontent in YouTube on February 23, 2010 and currently has over 14 million views and just a few hundreds more til' it reach 15 million.

ABOUT:
The video is about a blind beggar, an old man, sitting in the street, and waiting for people who come by and throw some coins at him. His sign says "I'm Blind Please Help". A few throw some few coins, sometimes, the coins even miss the can so he needs to feel where it fell  or went and put it in the can manually. In his situation, as a blind old hobo, it's so hard to find the coins just by feeling it. But then a lady dressed in all black passed by but came back, sat in front of the beggar, picked up the sign and wrote something on the other side of the card board while the beggar is feeling and touching his dark green shoes. After writing, she put the sign back and left. We can see now that a lot of people are throwing and giving a plenty of coins to the beggar and he doesn't even have the time to pick it all up. The lady in black came back and the beggar notice her when he touched and felt her shoes again.

The old man asked him:
"What did you do to my sign?"
Then the lady replied:
"I wrote the same but with different words"
and the old man thanked her.

The girl wrote "IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY AND I CAN'T SEE IT".

The video then ends with a caption : "CHANGE YOUR WORDS. CHANGE YOUR WORLD."

The Power Of Words

It is such an inspiring video. Only a minute and a half and it says a lot. You see, even words can change and bring a difference and the result is better. After watching the short-film, I felt the urge that I should write this on my blog and now, I just wrote it. :)

Thanks to Mr. Hunter, if it wasn't for him I may have not seen this video and this post wouldn't be posted.

Watch it and learn something from it. :)

Hitler Finds Out About Apple's new iOS6 Maps

Apples are finished, Use Android!

So I found a funny video while I was browsing on my google +. Hahahaha This is so damn funny. Philippines was also mentioned. Enough said, Just watch it and make let the hell out of you. hahahaha.

Demi Lovato - An Intimate Performance

She was sitting while singing the high notes and sounded so good, what more if she was standing? Greater, I know.

Oh My efiin' Gosh. Where have I been? So I just watched, shall I call it mini-concert, or sorta short-long performance of one of the greatest female vocalists out there, one of my goddesses, DEMI LOVATO.

I should tell you this, I love how the latest YouTube works. I love how they recommend videos on my home whenever I watch a related video because that's what brings this video to me.

I ask where have I been because the performance was uploaded last May 18, 2012. Oh, I know, I don't have an internet connection at the time, WHAT A SHAME.

She called this an intimate performance as what she said in the video, performing in a smaller crowd makes it very intimate, she feels like this huge eyeballs are all looking at her unlike what she sees in a larger crowd when she's performing.

Here's the line-up of the songs that she sang in the video:

  • Give Your Heart A Break (Live)
  • Fix A Heart (First Acoustic Live Performance)
  • Catch Me  (Live)
  • Don't Forget  (Live)
  • My Heart Is Like A Star  (Live)
  • Skyscraper  (Live)
  • Give Your Heart A Break (instrumental During the Credits)
It sucks how she performed very shortly. I was craving for more, more of her, more of her very powerful and indestructibly high voice. I wanna see her perform live, in front of me, meet her, take a picture with her and stuffs, but let's see if someday it will all come true. :)

By the way, I can't say much. Just enjoy the performance as much as I enjoyed it. Here's the video from YouTube/Vevo:

VEVO Presents: Demi Lovato - An Intimate Performance

She is just so good and natural whenever she performs live. I can't feel her being nervous the whole show.

Live While We're Young Music Video by @onedirection

OK! First post about this amaZAYNly talented boy band named (Drum roll please) ONE DIRECTION!
come one girls and guy directioners, lemme hear you scream. HAHAHA!

First of, I would like to clarify that I am not a directioner although I don't hate them. I'm a fan, really, I listen to some of their songs and I even like One Thing, What Makes You Beautiful, and most fave song of theirs, MORE THAN THIS.

So I was YouTubing my life just a moment ago when I stumbled upon the video of One Direction in my Channel's home. I saw that they already uploaded the official music video of their newest single, LIVE WHILE WE'RE YOUNG. When the song leaked, (shame on me) I listen to the song and actually like it but not as much as I like More Than This. So, just like any normal person would do, I clicked the video, waited for it to play, and found myself having fun watching it because of Zayn Malik. Yes, that's right, Liam Payne is actually my favorite and I happen to like his hair style in this video but Zayn is the one who got my attention because he is just so naturally jolly and funny in the video. It's like he's just Living his life out while he is Young, and free, and stuffs. He is the ultimate SCENE STEALER in the video. He's just being him and I can't even tell if these guys are acting or just naturally having fun with all the other people in the video.

So, basically, the song is about having fun, living your lives by doing what you want and what will make you happy and not minding all the negative comments, criticisms, aura, and even the economy. LOL! It's about doing what you can and what you really want while you have time, while you are still alive. It feels so good while watching the vid. You can feel the fun as if you are having it with them...

In case you don't know, which I reasonably doubt, the One Direction is made up of 5 boys: Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

Live While We're Young Lyrics

{Liam}
Hey girl I'm waiting on ya, waiting on ya
Come on and let me sneak you out
And have a celebration, a celebration
The music up the windows down

{Zayn}
Yeah, we'll be doing what we do
Just pretending that we're cool
And we know it too
Yeah, we'll keep doing what we do
Just pretending that we're cool
So tonight

{All}
Let's go crazy, crazy, crazy till we see the sun
I know we only met but let's pretend it's love
And never, never, never stop for anyone
Tonight let's get some and live while we're young
And live while we're young
Tonight let's get some
And live while we're young

{Zayn}
Hey girl, it's now or never, it's now or never
Don't over think just let it go
And if we get together, yeah, get together
Don't let the pictures leave your phone
Oooh

{Niall}
Yeah, we'll be doing what we do
Just pretending that we're cool
So tonight

{All}
Let's go crazy, crazy, crazy till we see the sun
I know we only met but let's pretend it's love
And never, never, never stop for anyone
Tonight let's get some and live while we're young
Come on and live while we're young
Tonight let's get some
And live while we're young

{Zayn}
And girl, you and I, we're bout to make some memories tonight

{Louis}
I wanna live while we're young
We wanna live while we're youn-

{All}
Let's go crazy, crazy, crazy till we see the sun
I know we only met but let's pretend it's love
And never, never, never stop for anyone
Tonight let's get some and live while we're young

Crazy, crazy, crazy till we see the sun
I know we only met but let's pretend it's love
And never, never, never stop for anyone
Tonight let's get some and live while we're young

(Wanna live, wanna live, wanna live...)

{Harry}
Young! We wanna live while we're young

{All}

Tonight let's get some

{Zayn}
And live while we're young

Heart on Fire by Jonathan Clay (LSS)

Jonathan Clay - Heart on Fire

Ever since I've watched the film LOL starring Miley Cyrus and Douglas Booth as Lola and Kyle, respectively, last week, I have to admit that I keep on singing the lyrics "But I won't let you go Now you know, I've been crazy for you all this time..." which came from one of the songs in the film, HEART ON FIRE by JONATHAN CLAY.

I fell in love with the song ever since Douglas Booth sang it in the film and I honestly thought that he's the one who was actually singing. But, after reading through some blogs and my little friend site WIKI, I read that it was a song by this Jonathan Clay ( I haven't heard of him until then), and I'm not sure who was the one singing in the film but I think it was really Jonathan but on the other hand, Douglas performed it really well in the film just like how Zac Efron performed in HSM with Drew Seeley's voice. UGH! It is so frustrating. :)

But enough said, whoever sang it, the song is totally catchy, good, lovely, cute, and irresistibly awesome, in a way that you will keep it singing inside your head for days or even for weeks! I keep on singing it repeatedly for a week now. :)

It's just a perfect song for falling for someone and keeping it for yourself, then you want to tell him/her about how you feel, how you want him/her to be happy, and how you don't want to lose that person and love him/her with all of your heart.

Here are the lyrics of the songs:

I'm falling in
I'm falling down
I wanna begin but I don't know how
To let you know how I'm feeling
I'm high on hope, i'm winning

And I won't let you go
Now you know
I've been crazy for you all this time
I've kept it close
Always hoping

With a heart on fire
A heart on fire
With a heart on fire
A heart on fire

Hand in hand
Sparkling eyes
The days are bright
And so are the nights
Cause when i'm with you I'm grinning
Once i was screwed now i'm winning

No I won't let you go
Now you know
I've been crazy for you all this time
I've kept it close
Always hoping

With a heart on fire
A heart on fire
With a heart on fire
A heart on fire

Let me walk through life with you
Everybody dreams of having what we do
Like a growling thunder
You pull me out from under

No I won't let you go
Now you know
I've been crazy for you all this time
I've kept it close
Always hoping

With a heart on fire
A heart on fire
With a heart on fire
A heart on fire
A heart on fire

I have a copy of the acoustic version of the song, which I think is the official version, but I was looking for the movie version, the one with the drums but I got no luck on finding it. I think it's better because the drums make it so cute and rock-ish. LOL :)

LOL (2012 Film) @MileyCyrus

STATUS CAN CHANGE BUT TRUE LOVE REMAINS THE SAME.

So fly! My first ever major post with Miley in it! Yeah.. If you are reading my blog, you probably absolutely read Miley throughout some posts coz' i keep on putting her name as much as possible. HAHA. She is like my idol ever since I saw her on Hannah Montana and I really like to thank her for showing and making me love music much more!

Enough of Miley because we all know how awesome she is. Let's talk about the film.

LOL is a coming-of-an-age film remake of a 2008 french film LOL (Laughing Out Loud) (I haven't seen the original movie yet). The movie is about teenagers doing what they want, doing what they like, and doing what  they think makes them live their life more meaningful and fun despite of having their parents mad at them and grounding them.

It's a typical American teenage movie about them having love, drinks, drugs, sex , and other stuffs.

It's about a girl, Lola Williams, getting through her teenage years, peer pressures, and relationships while also dealing problems about family and school. She has an ordinary life, her parents are divorced and has a boyfriend, Chad, until he met someone during summer and broke her heart. She has friends, Emily and Kyle. Kyle and Lola feel the same way at each other but Kyle can't express her feelings towards Lola because she is Chad's ex who is his best friend. Everyone in the the movie struggle in their own problem; grades, love, parents, and all the other usual stuffs that teenagers love including MUSIC. Will Lola find her true love?

This is actually a nice movie to watch for me. I'm still wondering what are the standards of the critics who gave the film negative reviews. Maybe they have already watched the LOL French film and compared the two which we all know is a commercial and critical success? Well, who knows, I just know that I like the movie, Miley's acting (although Miley's voice changed and it's like she has nasal problems or something), Douglas Booth as Kyle, yes, the hot one-sided hairstyle dude that looks like Enrique Gil, but hotter, and pretty much all about the movie especially the song Heart on Fire by Jonathan Clay and Scott Thomas, the song performed by Douglas Booth on the film ( I'm not sure if he was the one singing tho). We all have different and unique way of seeing things by the way, and we have our own opinion. I wish that this movie isn't included in the worst film list though but what the hell, as long as Miley's fans love it, I love it, #IDGAF. :) I have read many negative comments about the film but those are their opinions. My opinion is it's good. :D (This isn't a review about the film by the way.)

What I hate about the movie is that they,, the production team, didn't give it's proper exposure, marketting, ads, and limited release.
